The Montana State Library receives grant funds to strengthen libraries and information services for all Montanans.
The Montana State Library administers the annual Montana Land Information Act (MLIA) Grant Program. The purpose of the MLIA Grant Program is to provide development and maintenance of data and services relating to the geographic information systems (GIS) and land information. The annual Land Information Plan establishes the goals and priorities that guide the MLIA Grant Program. State agencies, local governments, and Indian tribal governments are eligible to apply for grant funding.
